100th Anniversary Events

Jubilee Launch

Our Jubilee Launch in congregations got underway in October, and will continue throughout the fall of 2005. As of Reformation Sunday 2005, 41 out of 103 Congregations and 5 missions have held their launch. Each congregation had an opportunity to view a special anniversary DVD which highlighted the District's past and our plans for growth over the next 100 years.  We've embraced a three-fold vision for the future:

• Every congregation an Active Mission Station
• Multiplying Mission Stations (doubling in 10 years)
• Home-Grown Mission Leaders (200 in ten years from childhood on up)

At your Jubilee Launch, you will also hear about your opportunityto make a thank offering to the Atlantic District Mission Society.  Proceeds from this special thank offering will be used to sustain and grow the work of our missions.  During this time, please prayerfully consider offering your support in helping to make our vision a reality.  Together, we can bring God's healing message to more people and more places than we ever thought possible!
