Faith Aflame Year One “Train the Trainer” Eastern Region Workshop

A Faith Aflame Year One “Train the Trainer” Eastern Region Workshop will be held on April 24, 2010 from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 171 Closter Dock Road, Closter, NJ 07624. The workshop will enable you to be trained as a workshop leader for Faith Aflame: Living with God’s Word and will be led by Rev. Wayne Knolhoff, LCMS Director of Stewardship Ministry, and the Stewardship training team. 

Costs for your meals, lodging, and materials will be paid through a Thrivent Block Grant.  Transportation is your own expense.  We are asking you to make your own room reservations.  Please call the Holiday Inn in Orangeburg, NY and ask for the Faith Aflame Regional Group room block, Group Code STF.  You will be reimbursed for the room rate ($109 plus taxes). The number is: 1-845-359-7000. These rooms will be held until March 23, 2010.  (Please reserve ASAP.) If you need to stay two nights to make flight connections the grant will cover that as well.

If you have others in your District who you want to have trained, please have them register by forwarding this email to them along with the registration form.
